So in the event of that small possibility? im just saying...

"China is thought to be the car's main market, but Japan and some European countries are destined to receive small batches as well, with the U.S. still under consideration."

Yeah I read the article. Sure there's a small possibility that it could come to the US, but most likely it will not.

One nice thing about Z's is that the quality control was done in Japan.

If I can buy something not made in China, and it costs up to ten times more, I do. Ten times and I draw the line.

Another major difference will be design. The Mini-Z coupe is expected to follow in the Juke's footsteps and employ some unique lines, eschewing the traditional sports car proportions of the Toyobaru. One insider says the Nissan will be close in size to the Honda CR-Z.

Exactly as I predicted a year ago. All signs were there. Nissan execs making statements about going to lower displacement motors, all development on Z34 abruptly halted, platform sharing pushed hard at Renault. I think we have last 6 cylinder Zs made.

will not matter to me, they will probably make so small, that I will not fit in it (6' 2"), its the same for me with the BRZ cannot fit.

Here is the easy win => 1.) Use the current 3.7. 2.) Use the design in the first photo. 3.) RWD

:)

Not sure that I buy that.

First, this "Mini Z" is a FWD hot hatch for China.

Second, the economy's been crap for a long time. People have been expecting the death of performance cars for a while, but it hasn't happened. Hell, the government tried to tell us that we all wanted electric vehicles. Well, they're on the market, and they're not selling well.

Third, used vehicles are available, public transportation is available, and people with jobs still want cars because they give them independence.

i see your point BUT you cant blame the companies from at least thinking about it, with the way the times are. agreed people want what people want so they are gonna do what they're gonna do BUT for those on a budget but still want a sports car (sort of) thats not as expensive.... this would be the companies way of saying " we understand" ... sort of...

who knows. for all we know (since we arent insiders ) they could continue the Z as it is AND bring out a "more affordable Z" with the 'downsize'... best of both worlds? who knows for sure? we dont.... we just guess lol
