What do the current EVOs run? I haven't kept up with them since 4 doors is not a go.

evo X + 3k = 3.9 0-60 and a 11.X qtr mile

I took that name because I was trying to buy a Evo X for 2yrs and had a b**ch of a time. I had the deposit on the first one in Winnipeg. Both Mitsubishi Dealers were A**holes! One tried telling me the recession was over so no deals off MSRP. The other had extra charges out the A**. $399 Doc fee, $499 PDI fee (because there is lots to check over with Japanese cars they told me), and $122.50 Enviromental tax. Even after all that the GM put 800KM on the car and would not let me test drive it!!! I walked out and right across the street was a Nissan Dealer. Walked in and saw a Carbon Silver base 370Z. Fell in love instantly! The salesman offered to clear the showroom to get it out so I could drive it right then! 4 Weeks later I picked up mine!

I actually got my 09 370Z with sport and nav with 10Km for $300 cheaper than an 08 Evo MR with 800Km.

I own a pretty much stock Evo IX MR, and by that i mean it's only got a catback exhaust and an intake which is relatively tame in the Evo Community and I'm a rare bread since a lot of Evo's are way more modded. I'd say a 370 and a Evo IX are pretty damn close, Evo X you'd leave it. Good Luck with "Killin Evo's" you'll need it.

I almost killed an evo at the track last week, if it would have been 1/2 mile and not 1/4 i would have. He got me off then line with a 1.9 60ft to my 2.19 but at the end it was his 13.6 at 101 to my 13.7 at 103. his was an Evo 8 with intake and exaust

You shouldn't have too many problems with stock Evos (or even slightly - SLIGHTLY - modded ones) with your current bolt-ons.

Mitsubishi ahs always been kinda dick about Evo test drives (except the dealership that I got mine, anyways).
hahaha awesome sig dude.

The IX has always been faster because the X is heavier.

They kinda even out, the ix is lighter but the x is much more mod friendly.
The X is almost hitting 300 awhp with just a drop in filter and a tune.

Not to mention the chassis on the X is way stiffer. These cars are heavier but extremely nimble on the track. Although heavier...the Evo X was a huge improvement over the IX performance wise. As mod friendly the 4G63 is...the 4B11 has proven to be even more responsive to modifications...its just plain wrong how fast you can make that car!!!! btw...i race a Subaru, so I had to swallow my pride to make that statement
