I would be happy with a Cube as loaner car. Atleast I know its newer and probably wont break down on me.... Body Shop loaners at the local nissan dealer are..... 99-03 Ford Taurus', 04-05 Chevy Cavalier and a 02 Hyundai Sonata..... How does that cube look now?
Took the dealer 2 months to fix my old car when I was rear ended. In that time, I had... Taurus (3 days during estimate process) Then had to return that. They told me they had no car for me. I went straight to the GM. 05 Altima ( month and a half ) Then I had to return that because they sold it.... (smh) 04 Cavalier for the last week until my car was done. And they wondered why I didnt buy my Z there was my mom went in for service Last edited by Zenki370; 07-20-2012 at 06:02 PM. |

I'd rather drive a broken down taurus than a brown cube. Besides, this wasn't a "body shop loaner". I get a free rental through enterprise because my insurance pays for it. Don't most insurance companies do this?

Dialogue upon returning the cube:
Girl behind counter, "Any problems with the vehicle?" Me, "You mean, other than the fact that it's a brown cube?" Other guy chimes in, "We call it the bullion cube"

My insurance at the time did but only up to a certain amount. So it meant paying money out of pocket because it only covered 25 per day and after getting hit with under 24 (at the time) fees and garbage it would cost me 8 bucks a day for a dodge dakota (the cheapest at the enterprise location). So dealing with the body shop loaners it was.

Got back from vacation, went to pick up my car and wasn't totally happy with the body shop so I went to get another rental. My Enterprise location had rented my cube 10 minutes before I arrived so they gave me their 2nd most embarassing vehicle upon my request:
A 2013 VW Beetle. Sadly, it does not have a flower vase but I have gotten some funny looks driving it so far.
