Stoopid Raccoons got me again
 

UPDATE:
Went just now to check out the Z after hitting the raccoon this morning. Bumper lip is busted across the middle 2/3's of the lip, right in front of the rubber piece. :eek: OMG! How much is it going to cost to repair? Should I just leave it,(?) it is not visible unless you get down on the ground and look up. Not a happy camper -I hate raccoons.

argh-I am so frustrated with the stupid things- I had to have my my Civic fixed THREE times because of them...I hate to have to NOT DRIVE the Z just because a raccoon MIGHT run out in front of me...

BTW-Love Mayhem! we had a design guy we called that, obvious reasons (teehee)

thought id throw some humor to lighten the mood lol

sad to see it happen to a fellow Z guy , this is a big reason why i only take mine out every once in a while... at least it was not a deer... those things are horrible when they hit

Def rethinking driving it daily in good weather (I hate to admit that my husband maybe was right-(that I shouldnt drive it EVERY day :shakes head:)

It cracked along where the lip is attached to the rubber piece that runs underneath it, right at the juncture of the two. Looks like the coon hit the rubber piece, pushed it back and caused flexing of the lip/bumper.

this is why i hunt coons and deer. to eleminate the species

Exactly-thankful it was NOT a deer.
Hunt away Pauly-Way too many of both coons AND deer in ohio-bleeding hearts need to pay for all the extra damages.

I know you hate them but you should stop trying to hit them! They may be dead but its taking a toll on your Z! :rofl2:

ugh I agree, coon sucks. They are the reason I will never have a fiberglass bumper again. 1 mustang, 1 fiberglass bumper with 1200 in damage, and one dead preggers racoon that was the size of a dog later. I have learned my lesson. Thankfully haven't creamed a dear yet, but being in texas, I'm sure its just a matter of time...

Came up on a hill, crested, and lo and behold, a dead raccoon laying in the road not 50 feet from the crest. Ran over a dead raccoon and splattered blood all over my underbody. Finally broke the plastic chin spoiler (which is more of a beard, by comparison, now it is a five o clock shadow). The damn things just run across the street like nothing happens there. Only a raccoon though. Almost ran over a deer not a month ago.

One more time-I hate Raccoons. Pic too difficult to get it's that hard to see. I think it will stay "as is". It's only a matter of time until I hit another one (not on purpose for gods sake! I have a 38 for THAT!). No point in fixing/paying for it twice.:twocents::facepalm:

Just get yourself a nice front fascia for the day when it finally splits in half. AMUSE KIT!:tup:
