The 370Z window trick!
Good morning forum! I have had my base model Z since late may and have just found out that..
OUR WINDOWS ROLL DOWN WHEN WE PRESS & HOLD ON TO OUR UNLOCK BUTTON! Thought it was a cool find and not sure if everyone knows about this (friend of mine with a sport model Z can do the same thing, but did not find out through his 2 years of ownership). This trick could be well known, but I hope this post will help some of the members out! Hope it works out for everyone! :tiphat: |
Yeah EVERYONE knows this... especially since it was in the manual since 2009.

It is a pretty cool function even though I always forget to actually USE it!:icon17: |
And I thought I was a genius :(

I found out accidentally when I came out the other day and my windows were down. I googled it and found a thread on here that said the windows go down when you hold down the unlock button and that I must have done that while the keys were in my pocket.
Now im much more careful, its been raining lately and it would suck if they went down again :eekdance: |
Watch out, it works on Altima's too! As well as many other cars out there.

Such as a 1998 lexus gs300

If you hold both buttons at the same time the car will perform felatio.

Every once in a while I will go out to the garage in the morning to find the windows completely rolled down. It kind of worries me. I'm not sure if the unlock button is just easy to accidentally hold down in my pocket or what. I went on a week-long vacation and came back to find my car's windows rolled down. Luckily it's always in a locked garage with no access, but it still bothers me. Is there any way to disable the windows from unrolling via the remote?

they also roll up with the turn (and hold) of a key

This feature was in my 98 Maxima. I only wish they could make it so the windows go up too.
lol, OP is going to flip when he finds out there's a second accessory plug in the center armrest and that the starter button can be replaced with the one from the GT-R. |
