Again, I don't reasonably expect anything from them. I'm just saying that if they DID know wtf they were talking about, it would make them better salesmen. They should know the vehicles this well, but they don't.

And they don't even have to know about financing, because most dealerships have finance specialists there.

If they DID know what they were talking about they wouldn't be salesmen.

I've found that generally car salesmen are the least knowledgeable people about cars in the world.

Best way to make it appeal to the masses:
4 cylinder
front wheel drive (thus less parasitic drivetrain loss, easier to control for most people)
4 seater
tall side windows for better visability
change the name to "toyota camry"

Also says in a related article the current 3.7 VQ will be reworked and implemented for the new G. Sounds like DI?

This is what we know about infiniti.
Infiniti G37 next generation rumors and information, we diagnose MotorTrends latest insider interview in understanding changes to the Infiniti G in 2014 and 2015

This is what we know about Nissan.

It seems the Infinti line-up is going much more upscale while the Nissan is trying to make the Z more accessible. Infiniti will upgrade the v6 while nissan is looking into lighter weight powerplants. My guess is they are going two different ways.

Best case scenario. The Z will have a v6 and a turbo 4. but from what i can gather. The "FM platform" chassis is going to die in the next generation. So expect the Z and G relationship to drift apart.

Lately they're talking about more power...370z RS. Not convinced they'll do it, but glad they're leaning this way vs. smaller. https://m.facebook.com/?refsrc=http%...user=606345512
