I loathe vandals
Found this nugget of joy the other day. Located on the left quarter panel right between the hatch and the wheel well. Looks like someone tried to jam a key or other pointy object into the car. Looks much worse in person and I'd love a few minutes with the assbag that did it

Just like they said in Pulp Fiction. "I wish i could have caught him doing it. I would have been worth him doing it if i could have caught him doing it."

That does suck, couldnt be in a worse spot. Looks like a big rock chip. I have something simular on the front end of my car with the same tear in the paint. I dabbed some touch up on it and forgot about it. Im going to respray the bumper or change it anyway eventually

I want to convince myself its a rock chip but it's a staight on gouge (I know hard to distinguish from pic). If it's a rock chip and judging the angle of the dangle it must have been fired from the grassy knoll.
Gonna run right under $500 to fix. |

I don't know, if someone is going to do something they usually do more damage usually by keying and making a long scratch...

Could be worse... could have been a parking lot incident or someone leaning against the car. I've had someone vandalize my 300ZX, pretty much the whole front of the car was keyed in.

I don't know man... looks like it could be a rock chip. It's not impossible. I have a rock chip on the flat surface right under my passenger side door, down to the primer. And I have a real beauty on my front fascia that went through the clear bra and paint... but that's part of owning a car that you actually drive. ~$500 is NOT worth it dude... just touch it up.
