Car repair Wiki with a 370Z section with How To's, Manuals, and Specs

I thought I would post up a link to wikiauto.com

It has articles on several cars including the 370Z with a decent selection of how to's, manuals, pin outs, and so on for the Z.

Thanks but seeing as how these are all from this forums DIY section it's just faster to go there. Check it out yourself for an incredible wealth of info.

...using a heavy clamp. Or while holding the coil wire and a grounding point in other hand....

They give a link back to the originals at The370Z (see Reference section at end of each page). It still would have been appropriate to ask, but at least they didn't do as a lot of sites do and not give attribution at all (or claim it as their own original).

As for deliberate bad instructions, how about: Lift ground terminal from ECM, run a heavy guage wire from the positive terminal on the battery and connect to ECM ground. :)

Many, if not all, of the FSMs listed on WikiAuto are available on this site in the Nissan 370Z Owners Manual / Service Manuals section.

WikiAuto is a nice site and the listing looks pretty handy, but I didn't see anything 370Z-related that isn't already here on The370Z. And The370Z has a community - I counted 50 forum posts (zero in the Nissan section) at WA since mid-2011. ;) I suppose WikiAuto could be handy if one wanted to access maintenance info without having to wade through all the "personal" stuff on The370Z, but I find the driver input on The370Z - such as the DIY comments that WikiAuto didn't copy - invaluable. Personally, I think WA would have been better off posting any new material (I didn't see anything new, but didn't dig very deep) to existing 370Z sites. All-in-all, I'd say it's a great site for general mechanics, but not so much for a model-specific audience. YMMV
