Some are good and very unbiased and some seems to be just plain jealousy.:ughdance::ughdance::ughdance::ughdance:

" going down the only road ive ever known... like a drifter i was born to walk alone"

lol....cant compare cars from 2 different classes and if youi do.... then its obvious you want the better one more than the one you got, but your trying to reason cept it backfires and you end up kicking yourself in the end anyway

I actually spotted my first BRZ in the wild this morning...looks pretty good and a lot nicer than I thought.

FairladyZ 07-10-2012 03:25 PM

The brz is no doubt a really nice looking car.

I would never buy the scion version though lol. something about scion sounds cheap.

My friend personally has been in both and said the interiors feels cheap though, and slamming the doors sound tinny. Seriously if i couldn't pay pass 30k for a Z, the BRZ is the only other car i would own in range.

I think you can compare the cars. Just because you have 30k+ to throw into a car, doesn't mean you'd rather dump it all on a Z than buy a BRZ/FRS for less and mod it with the dough, or do something else with the dough.

Anyway, yeah, this thread needs to be locked. They already closed the original thread on here that got the BRZ people all fired up.

i see your point but the point i was making was (this is an old thread that keeps being brought up in new(er threads lol hence the whitesnake reference) you may settle for a car less expensive car like the FR-S/BRZ but at some point in time you begin lusting over the thought of damn, i should've spent the additional few grand to get the car i actually wanted, despite having the additonal money you saved by going with the lesser.... and spending the additonal money you saved on mod's exc.... i still want that Z. everyone im sure has had that thought at one time or another on a car more expensive but settled for something less, modded it and still found yourself comparing the two anyway...

so to aviod that road all together. get what you truly want. not a car in which you buy..... then start comparing it to the Z or higher ups because your never truly going to be satisifed and your always gonna be left wondering the Why? or should of , would've , coud've.

all valid points its just an old thread lol

TerribleONE 07-10-2012 03:37 PM

in that case just buy a mustang... :stirthepot:

I know a guy on their forum who was considering a Chevy ZL1. He instead decided to buy a Scion FRS and spend the rest on a small airplane.

It's not always about maxing out your car purchase.

kenchan 07-10-2012 03:42 PM

+1 get a FRS, then spend the rest of the money on 370Z mods. :stirthepot:
