Yeah, the days when there was no speed limit in Montana were great. Troopers wouldn't even look at you unless you were doing better than 90mph. I'm taking my 370 up there in a couple weeks to see family. Gonna have fun driving through the canyon between Helena and Great Falls. Can't wait.

lol I'm guessing you got too used to Honda's because unlike the vtec, the VVEL doesn't kick in yo.
Look at torque curves and you'll notice the flatness throughout the entire rpm, that's VVEL my friend. You're lucky the owner of that Z isn't on this forum haha

I too was dead-set on having the manual tranny, but since I got the car for under invoice...and the 7AT is a "manual when you want it to be" and will still chirp the tires from 1-3rd...lol...it works for me.

What do you mean? I still like the car I'm not saying that I was expectinve all its horsepower at 7800 rpm like my car to have it actually "GO"
I didn't hurt the car at all, it was a good drive for it.

Wow - if I could just transfer that console to my 370Z.... I wouldn't. Looks like there may be some extra features that are nice but its too gaudy - too busy.... Part of it is glossy black other parts are flat black some is flat black but textured - its all over the place. It nice and rounded then they've got this brick that pops up for Nav. Lots too it but there is too much gloss - look out finger prints!
I agree 2theextreme - it looks like an aircraft cockpit. Simplify the whole thing with a touch screen interface. That would be slick.

I really REALLY love the feel of the Z though.
It almost harnesses you like it knows your the driver which is weird to say, but its true I love the feel the seats were great, the controllers and layout were superb, I really want this car. and to see that the touring sport beat the nismo in everything by .1 second thats nuts seeing that it has 18+ more hp I wont be able to decide PG with Black or Pearl white with black I love there permission color but I know I'd get it dirty and freak!
