Seems the Z does really well in qualifying but is pushed around during the race. More tuning? hopefully next season we see a top 3 finish.

First the Z is competing against big ole Detroit V8's with more torque. That's why the Z always seems to fall back on the restarts. It's in the brake zones, corners, and tire management that the Z shows its greatness.

Secondly the season isn't over yet. There's still 3 more races left (not including the un-aired Watkins Glen race that the Z would have won if it hadn't been taken out by an idiot ST driver), so a podium/1st is still possible this season.

I'm really looking forward to Indy. I know the team is really fired up to finish 1st and are really confident that they can pull it off. I stopped by their shop last weekend to see how things were going with the rebuild (and take photos) and they are working 7 days a week to get the car back up. I will be pretty shocked if they don't podium in Indy.

Rebuild??? I thought chassis #001 was done and they were building the car using chassis #002. And quit teasing us, post the pics. :pics:

#001 lives on, its at the frame rack right now. As for the photos, I will be posting them up in their own thread.

I watched the Road America race last week and had a great time. I'm looking forward to the next event, even though I already know what happens. :-(

Sadness saw the Z getting pwned by that M3 driver last night.
Broke my heart to see that!
That Z seems so sticky on the track! :D
