Wax the ClearBra, too?

I'm hand waxing and glazing my Z. Is there any point to polishing the area covered with ClearBra area, too? I drive my Z only on dry days from May

If you keep it waxed, it makes cleaning the bugs and road grime off easier.

My installer suggested Plexus cleaner and polish which I happen to have from my motorcycling days. Works great and brings it to a nice shine.
He said not to use wax? I believe anything with petroleum based ingredients will deteriorate the film over time.

Plexus Plastic Cleaner

I have always waxed the clear bra every time I wax the car. 3M recommends it. Just don't use any abrasives. Here is the FAQ.

I have only waxed my car once & I have only had teh car for almost three months. I wouldn't wax recommend waxingthe car every weekend, or every month. As stated already you will be fine waxing the clear bra assuming you are using high quality wax.

I haven't had any problems waxing my Clear Bra within the past years. The installer told me I could waxed too, plus it has a 5 yr warranty.

Have waxed mine with no problems. Also when I had it installed, was told that it could be clayed if need be.

Anyone know how to get the 'bug guts' splatters off a clear bra? Not talking about the guts themselves, but the mark they leave after cleaning. I tried some Zaino plastic polish (very mild abrasive), but it just barely helped. Seems to mark it almost instantly - I wash my Z a lot so it's not like they're sitting on there for weeks or anything.

I use a sponge that has a mesh, net like cover... After I wash with water and then hit the front end with the spray foam gun. Everything comes off easily and no marks on the clear bra.

I have a Xpel clear bra and was given Xpel film wax by the installer. Works just like regular wax.

My installer told me not to use carnauba wax on the clear bra. over time, carnauba wax gets into the small crevices and starts yellowing the film. Cars with light colors are mostly affected by it. He recommended to wax the clear bra with a clear wax instead.
