Road rage
 

Couple days ago I was going home from bowling with my co workers...as I was exiting off the highway goin up the hill (not good goin up a hill from stop in a manual) there was 2 lanes for turning...I got in the right lane but decided to go into the left..as I was going into the left lane i didnt see the car coming from behind...by then it was too late.. I cut him off accidentally..lookin the the rear mirror I can tell he was pissed. So the light turns green we go...thats when he got into the right lane and starting to go the same speed I was and started staring at me..so I slowed down and didnt want to start anything. As i slowed down he sped up to the next coming light where he had to turned (which i needed to turn too but i decided go straight to go a different way home)..but before makin that turn...he decided to stop and waited for me to pass him by...as I passed him he threw a full can of tea

out his window hitting my car (I was goin 30mph) everyone at that intersection saw what he did they all let me do a U-turn to catch up with him. Right when that can hit my car I was on the phone with the police..i was tryin to read his temp tag through that tinted rear window but it was hard to read.. he had no front or rear license plate....the guy saw me come up to him...he then pulls into a neighborhood...so i pulled in front of him..he gets out of the car and approaches me and started cussing at me sayin I almost caused a accident...which I was saying stuff back on why he had to throw **** at my car. But after a few mintues he realized I was on the phone with the cops he then starts to run back to his car and reversed and took off cutting everyone off at a 4 way stop sign. IT was too late for me to do anything else. The police showed up and couldnt do anything but took my report down. The officer was really nice told me that I need to carry my CCW every I go (which i usually do but i didnt that day cause i was working and goin to the bar)..oh we'll that can left a scruff mark on my fenders and a scratch. But I have those JSE UAM aftermarket fenders I need to installed. Sorry guys I just needed to vent.

Yea I would of been beyond frustrated... I admit I get mad at people if they cut me off, but would never throw something at their car... more just return the favor...

the officer told me that more then likely we both will bump into each other one day cause that road is a short cut and he probably just got off work the same time I did..officer told me if i recongnized him get his plates and call the police and if he tries to do something else..."fight him..beat his ***..but DO NOT USE YOUR WEAPON unless your life is endangered"

Not sure if this was a good thing but the officer told me "Ive seen your car before"

Too bad you didn't take a picture of him on your phone. I'd bet the cops already have a few of him on record too to match it to.

Wow thats uncommon, normally they say call the police and then stay away from the guy.. But I would have done the same thing, especially if he approached my car after throwing something at me... Probably NOT a good thing that hes seen your car. haha

I was on the phone with the police I couldnt use my camera while on the phone...which I would of lol. Galaxy S3 should of allowed that on the phone to take pictures while on phone. I would of use that burst shot takes like 20 pictures at one time

Man. Sorry to hear that, but the Cop is way wrong..

If you see the guy , and then beat him up, you went to him....The threat is over now..Maybe your state is different, but to find the guy, after the threat is over, and then beat him up is assault and battery..

The Cop won't do the time for you..So what you say the cop said is hear say..

Maybe I would ask a lawyer what is legal to do..This cop sounds way beyond the law..

If you follow him, he is now feeling threatened...The law is the law...Just looking out for you brother..The Cop seems wrong. I am just giving you advise to proceed properly, so the loser won't sue you.

Oh ya, i am pissed off and would like to crush the guys hands so he cannot throw a feather, but i am stating the law to protect you..

We cannot let the losers sue us, or put US in jail...Check it out before you act, and ask a LAWYER...Or the procecutor of your county..Not the Cop.

Oh ya, i live in California where the criminals have all the rights....

It sounds like the police officer was really cool. I know they can be...it's just so often they are a$$holes.

Anyways, sorry that had to happen to your car. I'm hoping you catch up with that dude some day.

Wow the guy seems like an ******* for wayyy overreacting in the situation. I hope he doesn't try something stupid, like keying your car later on.

That's the bad part about our cars too. There are so few around most places that people can tell exactly which car yours is. It makes me have to drive more cautiously, since a lot of people see me driving around and several have commented on it.

Where I am , the losers/criminals are protected, and the Victim is the criminal..

But I am pissed off too...I just try to give you some Logic to think about..
