Answer: Because Steve traded his Z in for a Mustang.

:iagree:

But seriously though, if you haven't driven or ridden in the new 5.0's then you don't know what you're talking about. I had my doubts at first just like you, but after getting a ride in Steve's 5.0 I have seen first hand what it is capable of and it is very impressive. I haven't had a chance to drive one myself yet, but it does handle pretty well. Also taking into account that it has been able to keep up with the E92 M3 on a track in various magazine tests, I don't think there's any reason to doubt its capabilities.

Reason 1: Ford (I've had plenty of issues with them in the past, Ford Exploder anyone?)
Reason 2: SRA (get with the times!)
Reason 3: power compensation for what it lacks in handling, i.e. it's not a balanced car.

Biased, yes. But I don't care.

Balance? Balance is what its praised for. Very balanced car!

:icon17: I hear ya. As long as we are enthusiasts. Blind fanboys are tiresome. But car guys, even though we all are biased to some degree, are always fun.

1) Ford has stepped up their game recently, especially with the mustang. Much better quality now than in the past.
2) Does it matter if it still kicks everyone else's *** in it's price range?
3) Moar powah = moar better, duh!
