What do you guys think...

about the platinum graphite with the grey interior? Does anyone have that color combination? I just put a down payment on my Z. :)

I ordered a platinum graphite with black interior however due to a dealer f%^#up what arrived was a grey interior.

What do you guys think? It is starting to grow on me though...

You mean the frost interior? I take it this is a base model, not touring? Any pics?

It's a touring sport with nav. Yup I think the grey interior is called frost in Canada. :)

Frost looks like it is really light. Nice color, but would be very hard for me to keep nice and clean.

Personally I am not a fan of it, orange is hot :0

That would be my concern as well. Stains over time, etc.

hmmm...yeah guess you guys are right...I better start stocking up on the leather cleaner and conditioner! :ohsnap1:

does anyone currently have this combination? please share your experience! :)

I have the gray interior. Leather cleaner removes stains very easily.

That's great news. Thanks! :)

But do you guys think the grey interior works with PG? :driving:

BanningZ 06-19-2009 06:15 AM

I think any interior looks beautiful in a PG 370Z

Are you going to renegotiate because of the screw up? Might be worth the time and money to bitch about the interior snafu.

Congrats on the new car!

semtex 06-19-2009 08:06 AM

^I agree. Looks shouldn't be a concern. It looks good. But defn. try to use their screw-up for some bargaining leverage.

semtex 06-19-2009 08:07 AM

Oh and one more thing -- if they give you wheel locks, make sure they give you the right ones. The Z does not use the standard Nissan lock. The correct lock is specific to the 370Z.

That's why I went with black. As long as I don't eat/drink in the car, or sneeze or do anything "funkay" it should stay nice :)

Does farting count? Whenever I get a new car, I try to not fart in it for as long as possible. But inevitably, one day, there's just no avoiding it, and I have to let it rip. It always feels like a bittersweet rite of passage. On one hand, I feel like the car isn't truly my car until I fart in it. But on the other hand, it just doesn't feel as new after that first fart. Now, when my wife gets a new car, I race to 'christen' it, just to piss her off. I'm a bit of a bastard that way. Yeah I know. TMI, right? Happy Friday, everyone! :tiphat:
