Colored Interior Lighting

Just put red lights inside my Red 370Z. Next step is floor lights that simply light up or can pulsate to the beat of the music.. Has anyone done this and what brand is recommended?

This is ill-advised my friend, I am in fact speaking from experience. This was my old car...

Stay away from the LED/Neons, trust me. If you do insist on going this route, streetglow makes some very high quality and affordable products. If you are real cheap, you could go Pilot, who also makes red. If you want something interesting Varad sells interesting light products. I implore you not to do this...

well first I blew my alternator, which is interesting. If you wanna look like a "high-school-daddys money-long haired-saggy pants-flat bill hat wearing-slack jaw-limp wrist-stuck up-wanna be racer-faggot boy" then I guess rock the Lights. Otherwise, leave the colored lighting in the 90's, it looks absolutely tacky, especially on a car as classy as a 370...

Sounds like you lifted some of that from Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation LOL.

Seriously though, I can see maybe some red LED footwell lighting with minimal glow. That may be tasteful, but that's as far as I would go.

The soft glow by the floor would look good. Just as long as it is not bright.

IMO, there's a difference between riced out Honda boy neons and tasteful ambient interior lighting. Do I want enough neons to look like a UFO on the highway? No. Are a lot of people on this forum (including myself) getting LED's in different colors to replace their stock bulbs? Absolutely, and it looks great. Cut the guy some slack.

Hey I gave the guy some great brand names to buy all the lights you could want. I am just saying it is tacky, that's MY opinion. No hate here hahaha it's his car

. I want a stillen front bumper and xenon upper quarter panel window scoops (What can I say, I came from a mustang...) so I'm not immune to the tacky rice by any means

. But I definately wont be lighting it up...

Curious about why the pulsating lights? I'm assuming you have a nice system in it too and will take it to the shows. It would probably be cool to see but I might end up with a headache driving with pulsating lights.

I have similar lighting but in super white by ijdmtoys.com. I love them. The car lighting gives it a more high quality appearance. Mine don't blink or anything. Lol
