Thanks Cossie....I have a feeling you're not too hopeful on the body side panel problem. I'll be picking it up later and will let you know!

Right away, I notice a big difference in this dealership. First of all, I was able to drive it in the first bay myself where they write up the work order. Next, I could tell that these guys were "car crazy" like me and one of the other service guys there had a '91 Z modded out to over 500 hp so they could relate to Z enthusiaists. And although I wasn't going to say anything about the seat, I did anyway and they were like "no problem" and they actually wrote "not to adjust the seats" in big red letters on the work order for the techs and they said they get these requests often. So right away I like these guys. The car is at the dealer now and I'm waiting for them to call me when it's ready. They shuttled me to work and will be picking me up. I'm crossing my fingers that everything goes well with the ventilation system. I also wanted them to look at the bottom body side molding towards the front of the car on the driver's side where it looks like one of the clip or fasteners that holds it in place has come loose and it sticks out just a bit. Anyay, I'm hoping that this will be the dealer who I can trust for future services.
sounds awesome! GL!

Just wanted to post back to the OP. When this thread first posted I thought the OP was a bit sensitive haha. Today I brought my car in for an oil change and to check a slow leak in my tire. After 1 1/2 hrs, they give me the car back and I get in and for 1, the car is much warmer than when I brought it in (did they take it for a ride?), 2 the seat is slammed all the way back, 3 it smells like a sweaty ogre in here and 4, there is grease marks all on the inside door sill above the side skirts on both sides of the car (driver and passenger), which makes me curious why?? The only thing Ive noticed with myself is that when getting in or out, sometimes your foot catches the side skirt. So I cant help but wonder, did people get in the passenger side also? and if so, for what reason??

Not thrilled...

lol its a 370Z at a nissan dealership man. They see 5+ of your car in their shop daily, they really don't look at it as it is something rare or completely awesome.

That doesn't mean they aren't joy riding in it. Whatever they're doing, I wouldn't appreciate my car being giving back to me in anything less than the condition I gave it to them in. That's hardly an unreasonable expectation.

Hey I agree but around here, you dont see a ton of them and much less modded. Maybe they saw exhaust and stuff and wanted to play? who knows... bothers me though.

Your car should return to you exactly as you brought it in, end of story.
My dealer puts those mat protector, little paper things in the floor area to prevent any dirty footprints in my car, which is nice.

I take my Z in for service at Peruzzi Nissan in Philly and have always had a good experience there.

Yea I agree. They are big time on their customer satisfaction so when I get the survey (typically after every service), I will let them know.

I havent had a problem with them until now...

I sympathize with you. Some years ago, I took my perfect new Miata in for routine service and offered to drive it to the bay. They wouldn't let me. The kid who drove it wrecked it. The crunched fender cost them about $3,000 in repairs and taught me a lesson. I keep an extremely close eye on my car the whole time now, stand outside while they drive it over to the bay, troll the work area, etc. You are not unreasonable. I'd request a different car jock or go to another dealership. We have a major investment in these cars, both financially and emotionally. Your concerns and attitude are totally justified.

LOL no. I'd rather work on my car myself because I like doing it. Taking a car in for an oil change is just lazy to me. Takes -15-20 minutes and I know it was done right.
