Default 370z Mods

I've read a lot of threads about tuneups for the 370 and for the most part what I've gotten out of them is 'go to a couple car shows and take a look around at the different cars and see which parts you like best.' And i do plan on doing that but as far as putting a sound system into the car, how hard is it to find a sub or two that will fit into that tiny little trunk space? I dont know if I just havent looked hard enough through here to see what other people have done in the way of subs, amps, and after market speakers but it doesnt seem like there are a lot of people that have actually put a system into this car.
As far as actually going to a car show it doesnt really seem like Hawaii gets too many of them, and if they do most of the Z owners are, like myself, in the military and havent really played too much with their cars. At least thats what I've gathered from info on past car shows in the area. I will have to see for myself, I know, but for now, putiing a system into my car(if possible) seems like the most affordable modification I can do to the car, besides mounting the spoiler I have being sent to the island, or totally repainting the car and/or mounting new rims ant tires.
Long story, short question; Is it possible to place a sub or two in this car? And if so, what kind/size should I be looking for?

There are a few folks who have placed subs in their cars on here. Zenclosures and a few other businesses make boxes for subs for this car, iirc.

A great guy to ask is bigaudiofanat

He consults and does installs for Z's.

You can put four 6" JL subs in the car without taking cargo space. You have a 7AT so there is room to squeeze 1 in each kick panel using custom fiberglass enclosures and one each right behind the driver and passenger side seats. You'll need to find a way to place the amps and that can be set upright right in the cargo area.

Another good alternative that i went when i had my 350z coupe was a JL Audio stealth box, you will loose some trunk space. Im not sure what subs they are running in these for the 370, but in my 350 i had two 10" subs

What brand and size amp would u suggest to run the jl's? They still run 10's.

I ran a jl audio 1200 watt amp, I never had a complaint about it, and a lot of people couldnt tell that there was even a Box in the trunk when they looked inside until they looked under the rear strut bar and saw the two subs. Pluss the carpeting on the box matches the carpeting in the trunk.

I have the zenclosure box with an old 12" crap sun that's gonna get replaced with an alpine type r soon, and a kicker 400.1zx amp pushing it, and it hits great. The box cost me about $130 on eBay.

See now I looked at the zenclosures boxes and they all just look like some plane jane rectangle shaped box. Like there was nothing special about them at all but urs don't look too bad. Whered u get it.
