Now I've never driven it nor have I test driven the gtr, however, According to at least one person who's recently made the switch I believe he said the z was a "drivers" car or something. I'm going to have to double check that. Perhaps you would best be served by asking him. One of his reason was the standard transmission and being more connected to the car.
