MAF senssor damaged - Need replacement
 

Without getting into a long story, I basically confirmed today(via professional diagnostics) that my MAF sensor in Bank 2 on my 2009 370z is damaged and needs to be replaced. Problem is the mechanic who did the diagnostic wanted $289 for a new part or $259 for a re-manufactured one. That didn't sound right to me so I figured I would try to find one cheaper since I'll be installing it myself anyway.

I found RockAuto Auto Parts which has some great prices but I'm not sure of the quality. Anyone got a better option or can vouch for rockauto?

My MAF sensor was covered under warranty and replaced. Currently I have another Service Engine Soon light. Maybe it's my MAF already gone bad.

I'm always very leery when when they sat that the MAF is bad. Most over-replaced part in cars today. A large part of the time, they are just dirty or oxidized and need cleaning. You might pick up some MAF cleaner at Autozone and see if it makes any difference before you drop a couple of bills on a new one.

Thanks for all the great information. I will try a cleaner first as that is a possible cause. This happened after the days of heavy rain here. I have a dual CAI setup I've been running for about 10 months so probably over that time my MAFs where exposed to a lot of moisture(thanks Florida).
