jesus... another gas mileage thread..

so buying a 2 door, rwd, sports car weren't the first clues that it wouldnt get great mileage.

secondly.... WHO CARES! go drive the car and enjoy it. u spent $35k on a car, no need to penny pinch on mpg's now that u got it.

It's true. They do not. I only got 13,500 out of the rears on my first set of Pilot Super Sports.

Yea when people say "hey man nice car" or catch them admiring it....I am always quick to tell them the POS doesn't get very good gas mileage. :shakes head:

Then I dump the clutch and floor it as I am leaving.

I was going to call this a classic flame thread. But speedfreak turned it into a slaughterhouse.

This is the kind of sarcasm that lasts a lifetime. You should write for hallmark.:inoutroflpuke:

joe blow: "man this sure is a nice 370 you got here."

Me: "Ya but you should see the lack of cargo space and awd on this thing! what a pile!"

I didn't buy this car for the gas milage, I bought it because it was sick looking and fast.

With that being said, I was getting around 24 on the hwy stock if I was good to it. After the install of the Gen 3 CAI I noticed that I can get around 30mpg if you consider strictly hwy miles that are not heavy on the pedal. For me, this was unexpected since all I really wanted out of the Stillen was the sound and the extra HP. I didn't even consider what the new CAI would do for me MPG wise.

Allow your car to breath and it will reward you!!

Lol once my Nismo gets to "39 miles" left to empty, I literally watch it the number go down every few minutes. It HAS to be wrong though because I'm shifting under 2500 RPM, light throttling, and I'm not driving 39 miles and it still manages to "evaporate" to "----".

What do you think about the 370Z'z mileage?

We regularly get 25+ mpg avg on a single tank (~21K miles in 16 months). That being said, it is my wife's DD, she drives 90% highway in her daily commute. The avg mpg over the life of the car is under 20 mpg because I like to have fun in it and fun > mpg.
