Funny thing is the 370Z cars get MPG and they are about as fast..:icon14: Then you mod them, and they are as fast or faster with MPG...:icon14::eek::eek: Technology has come a long way..:tup::tiphat: I am glad I have both cars .. |

I did all the other work first...Handling, Brakes, ect.. i hate people who just dump money into power on these old cars..And then leave 40 year old handling and brakes... But i will need more horsepower to play with the new cars, but in good time, and more money.. For what I spent in modifications , 30K, I could have the fastest Z/28 around... but then It would not corner, or stop, and it would have been useless on the track.. So I did it right, but I need more cash..My Builder does LS/6 speed swaps, so we will see... Funny how it sounds faster than the Z Car, but it isn't... |
Why don't you get a Fisker. It's electric and three times the price of the Z. When you buy a sports car, don't even think or bring up MPG's unless your car is one type of sport hybrid or electric motor like a Tesla. If your worried about MPG's a sports car is not the way to go. Anyways MPG's are based on driving style, you can pull 30MPG's in the Z strictly highway driving.
When you buy a sports car, you don't really brag about your MPG's. |

^I was the same way when I got mine a month ago. Co workers and friends asked my mpg and I said 'I have no clue. I didn't buy it for fuel efficiency.'

Maybe not a Prius, but a Honda Fit, ect...But we obviously wanted performance, and of course killer looks and handling...:tiphat: |
gas mileage isn't all its cracked up to be. I tried to be economical with a 40mpg Honda CRZ and managed to do it for a year and a half for my DD, but in the end, it couldn't get out of its way and I traded it on a Mustang GT.
As for the Z vs. the Boxster, even at 2/3rds the gas mileage, you would never make up the price difference between the two. The extra 30 grand for a well equipped one buys a boatload of gas. |
Mileage
means zero. we bought a sports car:gtfo2:
|
^word...
no complaints about my gas mileage. i love my z |

Where u getting your info from??? How u figure the boxster is more capable? The CAYMAN S is our competitor. The Z and cayman run neck and neck in performance. The cayman wins in only 2 areas. Top Speed and Refinement in its performance. Another equation I didn't add was materials. At double the price. I'm good with the less refined Z. Lastly if mpg's are an issue? Why you bought a sports car? Hmmmm? Kenchan ban list candidate... lmfao. |
