window roll up from remote?

I know there is a module that will roll the windows up, but I have noticed that when I roll them down after a while the windows are just all the sudden back up... Any ideas how this is happening?

Gremlins. You have made them angry somehow and you need to make amends. Tossing a virgin into a volcano usually does the trick. Good luck finding one in Maryland (virgin or volcano).

Lol i figured it out but in doing so raised another question... i apparently have the kptechnologies window roll up module which is great. Problem is the. Windows are rolling up after one lock press rather than two. Biggest issue with that is if i hold unlock to put the windows down and dont open the door it will automatically relock after a few mins which puts the windows back up...

Anyone know if there is a way to adjust this?

JAYNO20 06-21-2012 05:36 PM

I guess disabling the relocking after the door not being opened within a few minutes would work too.. is that possible?

Ok so after pulling off the door panel I noticed I have no window up module. I just assumed I had one since I can get the windows to go up with the remote, but no such luck. Anyone have any idea how this thing is putting up the windows?

MattP725 06-27-2012 02:01 PM

You are making the assumption that the module has to be inside of the door panels... it technically could be somewhere further down the wire harness.

I checked their site and they don't seem to have a programable options (only 2 locks) so maybe you have another brand roll-up.

I know other companies make a similiar module that may work differently.

JAYNO20 06-27-2012 02:12 PM

I looked behind the speaker and in the drivers side kick panel. I am running out of ideas of where this thing could be hidden. Is it at all possible to do this without that module? I need to know I am not looking for something that may not exist.

FairladyZ 06-27-2012 02:14 PM

wait is this even possible? I know that you can roll them down holding the unlock button but never knew you can roll them up??
