No way to get the sport package brakes without paying substantially for it...

You are looking somewhere around 1k for the calipers/rotors/lines/pads used.

How were you misled by the sales rep???

Brakes are one of, if not THE most important feature on a car. God forbid you drop some coin on a decent upgrade.

If all you want is a little bling, someone on here did a really great job sanding and painting their stock base model calipers and they looked great. Super glossy, and even added some decals. They're not giant like the sport kit, but they looked nice.

If I were you, I'd save a little more and do it the right way.

Even the sport package brakes kind of suck without better pads and SS lines... sorry, but decent brakes for big wheels will cost some coin...

By the sound of it, I don't think the OP is gonna be hitting the track on any regular basis. For DDing, the sport brakes are pretty friggin great. I avoided a nasty t-bone with 'em. Nearly kissed my steering wheel from the stopping power. I'm just glad no one was following too close behind.

i have worked at a car dealership for 13 years and it boggles my mind how the op could possibly blame the dealership for not knowing his car doesn't have the sports package!! The car has different rims, different brakes, plus the the other features like syncro rev matching & limited slip!! If you were told the car had bluetooth and it didn't i could understand that or heated seats or something minor like that!! the sports package is $3030, how do you not know if you paid for that or if it wasn't on your window sticker!?!

and the reason why im hesitating to buy it is because i dont understand why its SO CHEAP for the ENTIRE KIT, when on other sites, its 4K ++++++ for a whole kit, and they usually sell it in front pairs or rear pairs.

and z1 is not responding to any of my emails, that ive sent the last 2 weeks, 1 each week. so ........

he has a base z how is it a 50k car??
