Exclusivity?? Seriously? I see at least 5 or more vettes a day! They're like freaking civics (cockroaches) up here!

Agree, you won't be happy. I went from '10 M3 to '11 Z. The Z is a nice car, but I really regret the downgrade except when I get service done.

You lost 2 cylinders, almost 100 hp, and about half your car payment and your suprised why?

Not really an Apples to Apples comparison.

i say.. go to a dealership........ test drive the Z and make a decision based on what and how you feel.

for me personally without ever driving a vette before, id say go with the Vette, because to me a Vette.. welll is a VETTE! lol the best advice i give to you is Test drive a Z. and see how it feels to you personally, if it feels good to you. go for it. if not, stick with the Vette.

Tough decision depending on what you do with your car. At the track I have yet to have a Corvette owner say he wants a 370 like mine.

Sticking with what you've got seems sensible.

I agree with this part.

There have been members on this forum who've traded their C5 and C6 Vettes for 370z's. Talk to frost or ImportConvert, and I believe even Mike the Powdercoater.

We've also had folks leave us after trading for Vettes.

I've loved Vettes for a long time, but I could never reasonably afford one brand new, and that's the only way I'd buy one.

The interior will blow the C5 away, but not much else. Drive one and see how you like it.

What I would suggest is driving a LS3+ Vette. I drove a 08 coupe the other day and it was nice. The steering was better and the interior is a lot better. You'll probably want to trade the C5 in on one.

Oh yeah the headlights will also kill those terrible C5 stock lights.

Such different cars. Yeah, the Vette will perform much better. But cars are more than just that. I'd rather be driving a 370Z than a Vette. I don't want to hurt any feelings.. but I'd feel weird telling people that I drive a Vette. I'm a 31 yr old male... I don't know.. different strokes for different folks.

Have a few Vette/Z06 enthusiast friends... only bad thing I can really say about them is how common they are.

The Z is my first car I've ever owned that I can say is pretty rare (and the 40th even more so). People tend to look at the car more closely because they don't see them around. I don't think there are any performance aspects to the Z that would warrant trading in your car though IMO. Fit and finish might be a bit nicer.
