How's it coming along? Did you get any buyer?

I thought so

Nah I'm actually out of town for a week so I can't sell it now. Actually got a few texts today about my car. Like I said doc, I'm not in a rush to sell right now.

Are you having bad days at work? It seems like you are mad about something. All I asked you was to explain. You don't have to be a douche about it.

Not trying to be. There were at least five responses telling you the price was too high, yet you seem to think you are right and everyone is wrong despite everything we suggested. I hope to see you in a 370 soon.

I am going to list my 370Z on Craigslist for 29K now, let me see how many legitimate responses I will get.

Like I said, to each their own. I do not recall saying that everyone was wrong. And notice how you said "seem". Props, if you can find evidence.

Well thanks man, I appreciate it. :tiphat: It may be possible that I may get a 370z, but that is not the only car that I am looking at. So don't count on it.

Honestly, I can care less how many response you get. You can get a million for all I care. There's no prize or trophy involved here.

Good luck at getting nearly 19k or even 18k. My dad had an 06 G35x with less miles. He sold it about three years ago for ~18.5k IIRC. A realistic price would probably be around 14-15k.

Also, KBB is a terrible source for estimating the worth of your car. Edmunds is more realistic. You also have to take the market into consideration. Sports cars/V6+ are going for way below KBB and even Edmunds because of low demand due to gas prices and everyone is buying 3 or 4 bangers instead.

I'm not so sure about Edmunds either. I was playing with the idea of stepping into the new Boxster and I was surprised at how low they valued my car. But I do agree that KBB is quite high. OP, you should be researching how much your car is selling for in your area and price accordingly. I agree with everyone though, you'll have to lower the price if you aren't getting any hits.

Honestly, it is one of the lowest in my area for my miles. I haven't checked every car on Autotrader, but it is lower than most. I am finally starting to get some more calls and texts about the car with the same price from the OP.

Edmonds is a joke, I find they are way low. If you take the average of kbb, nada, and edmonds, that should be more realistic

EDIT: Just did an Edmonds "True Market Value" estimate for my 03 Cobra with 20k miles and I got a private party sale price of $12,457 and a dealer retail of $13,938. I sold it last week for $21,500. Its a joke and Edmonds, Kbb, and NADA were all at least 2k low on the value. So you really have to gauge the market and see what similar cars a selling for.
