I need to get it on the track, no doubt. I know I made the right decision in buying this car, but was also very impressed with a few of the guys I know who have bought 5.0 mustangs. I'm planning on Solo in the near future and am excited to see how much better it performs there.

and just like anything with a turbo theres always the question of reliability, personally if i had that car i wouldnt be tuning it that amount without beefing up the internals first otherwise you are just asking for trouble in the long run

Do some basic breather mods and a tune -- there's a lot of low end grunt to be gained.
Compare and contrast. That's with a Nismo S-tune axleback (should be comparable to Nismo factory, which can be picked up pretty cheap), K&N panel filters plus Cobb intake tubes, test pipes (or get high flow cats for similar gains), and a tune. That's it. Factory headers and airboxes. The tune can also radically improve throttle response. Seriously, it's got way more potential than you think with a little time and money.

Full bolt on 335i's roughly push 410whp 420ft/lb tq give or take. The tune is also plug in play and can be taken out in about 15 min. before going to service. Last edited by blaQouT; 06-18-2012 at 01:02 AM. |
