Current road trip - Switzerland / Italy lakes
Team 370z - heading back up to Germany today. Been having amazing road trip. Will post more later. Great weather thankfully and no major traffic problems thus far!
The small roads in Italy have been amazing and nerve racking with the Z being a touch wide. Here is a pic from the drive down through Switzerland. Enjoy and more to follow ! One more pic of the car at a gas stop. Still some snow on the peaks in the Swiss Alps. The coolest thing so far car wise - We drive this car, its pretty rare here in Europe(370Z), and we park in the hotel in Lugano Switzerland, in the garage right next to a black 370z Cabrio with Swiss plates! Crazy! Last edited by DLSTR; 06-17-2012 at 05:07 AM. |

Garage picture
Was completely amazed after 5 hours on the road, down to nearly the Italian border, in a small garage in Lugano, our spot was next to another Z!!

Vierwaldstättersee
This is the first lake we stopped at on the way to Lugano. Lugano is in the very South of Switzerland in the Canton(State) of Ticino.
Vierwaldstättersee is South of Zurich. Took the pics of the car with the lake in the background. Here are a couple more. The car and 1 of the lake. After you leave this rest area you travel along the lake on A-2 towards the South to the Italian border. The color of the water is amazing! |

I visited Lake Como after the Italian Grand Prix a couple years ago. Beautiful part of Italy for sure. Unfortunately traveled by train. For some reason Italian trains don't really pay any attention to schedules.

Thanks for checking this out.....
We got to Lugano and started exploring it.....a few photos: The lake, a nice very cool modern ferry and some examples of the buildings and architecture. Lugano is a great place with a nice laid back vibe. Great food and places to relax and hang. Fantastic main park along the Lake Lugano. Italian Swiss beauty of city!
