Default Extended Warranty

Purchased my car brand new 2012 in march with out a extra warranty cause i know i could get a better deal outside the dealer . haven't pulled the trigger yet on buying one but heres the question do any extended warranty company's cover after market bolt ons like CAI or exhaust or anything like that . Or is it really just bolt on at my on risk and take it off if something goes rong to get the car serviced ???

Mixed opinions out there on this. Bolt on mods are fine but if they cause a failure don't try to get Nissan to pay. Your average bolt on mod shouldn't cause any harm and they can only deny you if they can prove the mod caused the failure.

However, do this at your own risk.

I purchased mine as a Certified Used with the extended 6year 120k mile full coverage warranty, he informed me it wont cover them but I put oem nismo parts on the car such as the S-tune and all they all will be covered which I thought was cool!

Be REALLY CAREFUL about those S-Tunes or NISMO parts. I know they're not Toyotas, but I've deal with dealer/mfr warranties on Toyotas and Hondas and they usually do not cover these "racing parts." The dealership is just sending back info saying broken OEM part back to HQ.

Thats what my dealer suggested when I got my oil change that nismo parts are the only thing they will warranty but idk I feel like if I'm gonna spend the money on nismo parts I wanna get more power out the parts I'm buying but idk ...thanks for all the info guys I think imma look into a CAI for my first mod . Oh and since I'm new would you guys know how to get that G37 sound out the car idk if it's the exhaust or what I just like it .
