I love the colour too!... but those wheels! :barf: I just don't like the twist....
|
Yeah that looks great! I think the wheels might look good in person.
|
I don't mind the new 19" wheels, but honestly, I'm thinking about getting the Base Touring model. I have heard a rumor that the 10 spoke cool looking roadster wheels will be the new standard 18" base wheels, which is a nice change from the same old 5 spoke cookie cutter wheels that come standard on every vehicle made..... and I think they will go great with the Midnight Blue.
I have also grown to like the lines more on the non-sport model without the rear spoiler. Everything just looks like it flows better to me. I know there will be a slight handling difference with the new "euro tuned" suspension and I plan on test driving both. Since I'm opting for the auto daily-driver version anyway, I don't really plan on taking it to the track so the more comfy the suspension, the better. Not to mention, it will be a tad bit easier on the wallet. Heck, if I want better handling, I'll just lower it an inch. :icon17: |
Get the 7-AT with no concerns DarkZ.
My Z is a daily driver in Houston, and I didn't even consider getting the manual. Once you learn the paddle shifters; i.e. they become second nature, it's a blast driving. |
Thinking of doing the same. Want blue or the new metallic red. 7AT like I have now. Its a great machine with the auto!
|
Do it.
Even stock the 7AT shifts faster than the average driver on a MT, and you can tune the shifts to be even faster with uprev. In heavy traffic (Tampa is horrible bad too), put in D and cruise. |
Meh, I decided to just keep the one I have.....
NOPE, NOPE, JUST KIDDING! I'm in the process of paying off a couple of credit cards to get them out of the way and then I'm going to the dealership to talk Midnight Blue, 7AT, with the Touring Package. I'll probably play my sick little game and stand my ground, telling them that if they want my stimulus package, they will throw in the Sports Package for free. I'm still going to buy one whether they do or not. I just want to count how many times the word "package" gets tossed around. Heh. :icon17: :nutswinger: |
I drive in a lot of traffic.... I don't even notice i'm using a clutch and stick anymore

I too have bad knees and MT can get ugly in a lot of traffic.
That being said my 350z was AT with the shifting on the stick so I could move gears up and down, once i got it down it was tremendous fun, but now the 370 MT is much better.... but thats a personal opinion. Once you test drive it you will know what is best, AT can be a lot of fun and so quick and responsive because no user error can be had really when shifting. MT is starting to become a thing of the past. In 04 I was a pansy for having an AT now im an outsider having a MT. Times, they are a changing haha. G/L! |
loving mine fwiw... easy in traffic - fun to paddle around the twisties...

I bet Atlanta is a lot like Houston - a 30 to 60 minute crawl of stop and go misery at break neck speeds approaching 15 mph for distances of 30 feet at a time. |

I lived in houston for a while and traffic is horrendous there but I was surprised at how much Edmonton traffic sucks when I got here. |
Damn sucks to hear, explains why you would want to trade up for a AT.
I also like the new colours  |
