He had it on his laptop. So now what? Laptops aren't good either... so I need a 10hertz gps. I do know this though. The time I hit at the motorplex was 12.9 when I had around 6000 miles and 1000 miles with my intake, res delete and custom Y pipe. 12 noon 79 degrees. 24% humidity 5mph winds, Royal purple oil change at 5200miles on stock tires, car temp 190 degrees, partly cloudy.
As much as manual guys REFUSE to believe it. A properly broken in auto with the stillen wire kit and minimal breathing mods picks up pretty good gains in ambient weather. I probably won't be able to produce numbers like that again until october unless I keep modding. At least during the day. My engine bogs down in this texas heat... but these cars can run on the low end pretty well. I'm pretty sure for a lot of you its not putting sub5 sec shifts on a shytty Z manual when so many of you are used to buttery smooth bmw's, hondas, mazdas and perfect mustangs. . Also, a lot of you are coming from 09's with the different spring rates on the suspension and other minor tweaks to the motor that 11 and 12 received. That's why there are differences in grip from year 1 and 2 vs 3 and 4. But a well broken in auto will put it down with key mods. Location and climate permitting. header and full exhaust & tune. 12.6-12.7 will be possible on the autos at least. |
