Tried that about 5 times. Not saying it's not a very well made movie or the acting sucks or it's not an important movie and all that etc etc etc. It was the first of it's kind, one that influenced many and continues to influence today. It that regards, its "great."

But the movie itself is long, monotonous and boring. It's just blasé. I don't find it uplifting or depressing at any time. You don't laugh and you don't cry. It has very little to offer in the way of depth or feeling. It's just "there."

Great movie, yes. Good movie, no. There is a difference.

Im sorry....I have an ACTUAL job and dont really come around alot. Im on my way to Court now down south.

To me its all fun and games so I dont get bent out of shape. I still think there is an equivalent to the Fairlady Badge AND someone putting on an M on their non M BMW and AMG on their NON AMG benz.

To me, the Fairlady means 1 thing......Right hand drive car sold in Japan. That is it. If you have a right hand drive Z ANYWHERE on the planet, it is a Fairlady. If you did a Fairlady conversion and switched your steering wheel to the right side, then you have successfully completed a FAIRLADY conversion. IT may be a small thing, but it is what it is. And TO ME those people that dont know that the ONE thing that makes a Z a fairlady is it being a RHD are either ignorant of that fact, or Posing.

again it is what it is. People here are more worried about the extra stuff you have on the car, and those things making it more or less "better" than the next. We all have our preferences. sure, if some people wanna put the Fairlady badge on to pay homage, that is on them. My original point was It sucks...coming from a person that grew up around ACTUAL FAIRLADYs to see a Z with fairlady badges on it, immediately remember home and that single thing being what makes me walk up to the Z....a Z just like every other Z, and immediately be disappointed because it is the same ford contour you see everywhere else! just with Fairlady badges.

That was all my point was. Get a base model camero on it and but SS on it? Poser. Get an base model rustang and put Cobra on it? poser. Get a 4 door honda civic value pack and put hella vtec stickers (which add 50 hp as we all know!) To me putting fairlady badges on your car when its not is ricing it up. but thats me. And if I feel like that person WHO SHOULD KNOW ITS NOT A FAIRLADY...puts fairlady badges on it...im entitled to not like it.

hows that kids? now im off to win this lady her kids back!

you are missing the point. the only difference is the side of the steering wheel they put the car on. no performance, no options... however somehow we got to putting an ss badge on a camaro or an M/// madge on a 318?? how does that make sense.

also what doesnt make sense is how u keep calling american z's a "ford contour z". as if we are somehow all amazed that nissan can shove a steering wheel on the other side of the car. that doesnt make it better, more exotic, or special. its different.... how are our z's any more or less normal than the ones they drive in japan?? its the same damn car for crying out loud. think...

thats like saying "man i was so excited to see a gt3 rs the other day, then i saw it was left hand drive. what a let down... only REAL gt3 rs's are RHD. this was just a plain ford contour gt3 rs." its not that i disagree. its that your argument makes no sense. a 370z is a fairlady. a fairlady is a 370z

They changed the name in America because it sounds fruity (the PC term). They don't care in Japan because English isn't their primary language.

well, the Zs were originally designed for the US market. If americans were accepting of female or feminine sounding names for their cars, all 370Zs sold now will still be badged as "FairladyZ". Its purely cuz having numbers and alphabets appealed more to the consumer that they used numerals in the badging. Same for the 240SX/Silvia argument.

anyway, as long as its a Z34, its a Fairlady 370Z. irregardless built LHD/RHD or sold in Japan/USA/EU etc etc., meaning any badge is fine.. just up to user preferences.

Personally i prefer the name Fairlady as cars/boats/planes are all females.. irregardless of how much muscle she packs...
