but any aftermarket intake, it is a good idea to tighten the hose clamps every now and then. even my simple HPS + stock box setup required retorquing. i swapped to t-bolt clamps a while back and even last week i just made sure the clamps were snug.
I have the one you thought was too loud they are the R2C black nickel

Ok, so since no one has tried Brickhouse, I'm thinking I'm going there. We'll see.

aha! dont over tighten the clamps for the cones. they tend to tear under the clamps if you do as the rubber is soft.

soooo, I'm driving home from work Monday, following a truck/flatbed trailer with a zero turn mower on it. He obviously just filled up both tanks on it and left off both CAPS 'cause it's sloshing gas all over the dang place...the reason I noticed is because I could smell gas really strong and wondered where the heck it was coming from....voila-zero turn mower-full tanks-no caps. Needless to say I backed way the hell off...WTH?! Luckily he turned off right away.

Last night, Motorweek did a road test on the Scion version. I think they are nice cars for someone on a budget, but not a competitor to a Z.

Think Celica.
