i speak from experience, but to successfully drive the Fit without psychologically killing yourself is to drive it slow. especially on the AT, drive slow like you're sitting at the very back of the bleachers minding your own biz away from the crowd. then it's not as bad. if you try to make the thing go fast, it is a f-king hell hole!

i kept the AT Fit (the one i sold was MT, much better but hated seating position) since my wife can't drive MT. each time i drive it i come home pissed cause the AT f-king sucks on the thing.

i feel very old when im stuck in the office all day and dont have time to stretch out before supper.

so i suppose washing my car right after work is not a bad thing....at least i am moving around and my tense muscles can relax a bit.

I am glad to hear that we shared the same frustrations. Hers is the AT and wow is it bad... I have driven plenty of civics, other entry level cars and didnt hate it as much as that thing.. I thought I was just spoiled but obviously I am not the only one! By then I should be able to drive it so I guess it is going to work out okay.
