Ok, FIrst of all, I HAVE ACTUALLY OWNED A FAIRLADY!

It was my first car. I grew up in Okinawa, and I know the difference. I understand that people wanna think they are "LIKE" the cars back home, but the FAIRLADY badge is specific to one thing...IT IS RIGHT HAND DRIVE!

Now, everything else is fair game, and im not trying to nitpick ish....but when I see a car that is a Fairlady..i think..hmm, he brought it back from home..let me see it....then BLAM...its a lame *** Ford Contour Z.

STOP WITH THE POSER BADGES PEOPLE!

ALSO, the nismo front is ugly!

THAT IS ALL!

Its respect and homage to the culture, the car, and its heritage. But you wouldn't know anything about that cuz you're stuck on calling people posers.
In my opinion, when people want to label others? Its because they are insecure about themselves... now you may feel like your c*ock just grew 3 inches longer because you owned a real fairlady...
But the guys that add the badges. They are giving RESPECT TO THE MOTHERLAND OF OUR CARS.

More or less, Fairlady is just a name. True, it was and is the name given to the Z line in Japan, represents the heritage of the Z line.

Badging a Z car with "Fairlady" is completely fine. RHD or LHD, that just specifies JDM (or any market with RHD) or USDM (or any market with LHD).

Now, if you stick a FairladyZ badge on a Ford Contour, then you're just retarded.

That isn't a quote from me. Also, I haven't changed my sig since I joined. I have two jobs, am getting a college education, and I don't have any time anymore. Unfortunately, I still have expensive tastes.

I would also appreciate it if you would not attempt to know anything about me as an individual, but I made my case.

With that ford contour comment he made... I don't even believe he OWNS a Z.

Who cars if the differences are just cosmetic. Left or right hand drive isn't a big difference. What I do hate for example someone in a cheap 3 series BMW slapping a m3 badge on and calling it a day.

By the way, I like the NISMO front end! I think it looks functional. It curves kinda funky though.

Me too, looks were the only reason to get a slower, heavier and, more expensive Z for me.

NO ITS NOT! Fairlady is Specific to ONE type of Z. IT is SPECIFIC to Japan. IT IS RIGHT HAND DRIVE ONLY!! They do not call the Z a Z back home it is only the Fairlady. The Z's sold everywhere else are called Z's.

but I guess it takes someone FROM there to know this. Im not hating, its just annoying as fauh-dook!

I stand corrected; Fairlady refers only to the RHD, JDM Z. I still don't see why you're so annoyed, since the only difference in any other market is the displacement number, then Z. You might have owned an actual JDM Z, but so what? It's as you said, ONLY difference is RHD. Well, that and the extra tools in the spare tire kit.

My Bad...I wasn't thinking of YOU when I wrote it...Again , my bad...

Go man go... Sounds like you are on the right path...Also Invest as you go, you are young enough, and motivated enough to amass a great amount of wealth over time...Forget what people say about the stock market and investing...Make a plan and do it..

Someone who invested in dividend stocks with 50K 10 years ago, has 500K now.. Even with the crash of 2009

I wish you all the best...Again. my bad.

And having expensive tastes will motivate you to the top...Sorry for my misguided post

hahahaha...What dont you get about it? It's an expression I use. It means some plaina$$ bland whatever. I mean, how many ford contours do you see where the guy tried to bling it up? It looks silly, like putting racing stripes on a motorcycle or buying a mustang....or a base model camero and putting all the SS or whatever the top line model is badges on it.

I have a Z sir. I have had MANY Zs. I have used that expression here before.
