How to put on wing/spoiler

If i were to buy a sport package spoiler from a member on the forum is there a way to put it on without drilling? I don't want to drill

If i were to buy a sport package spoiler from a member on the forum is there a way to put it on without drilling? I don't want to drill holes in my new baby.

On my Mercedes, I just attached the RENNtech spoiler with 3M automotive tape. Never had an issue in over 100,000 miles. Did the same thing on my mom's 300 and it never came offf - and that one was just 3 legs.

I don't think its possible... without drilling you can't put that sir....

You can use 3M double sided tape if drilling isn't an option.

Hmmm... I'm not so sure that it would actually be imposing any downward force on the rear end if not properly mounted to the rear hatch with hardware. You can get a template for the holes if you are worried about poor drilling...

if the wing is small enough vhb will work. i installed a small lip on my G's trunk like 8yrs ago... no issue.

OP I remembered seeing this thread in the DIY section for the spoiler template.

I have a factory spoiler template for 2009 370Z - Who wants it?

Might be useful if you decide you need to drill instead of tape
