I was considering getting the 370z and although I would love to fit 4-5 people in a car. I would love a truely fast sports car. I sortof narrowed the cars I wanted into 3: 370z, mustang, or the infiniti g37. Tell me what yall think about the 370z. Thanks!

well we are obviously somewhat biased but the only one of the 3 you list I'd consider is the z. You just can't beat the handling of this car for anywhere near the price.

Now torque/HP is a different thing.

If you want to seat people, get the G, if you want a sports car get the Z. If you want a mustang.... get a Z first then trade it in for one. I hear thats what people do around here.

idk a lot about cars but ive heard the mustang kicks *** and the infiniti is close to the 370z but the 370z is the most attractive to my eye but..how much slower is the infiniti because of the backseats?

minimal/negligible difference. handling will be slightly compromised from having softer springs and slightly more weight in the g

nah I went the other way. If you want to go through your douchebag-ricer sensitive-street-torretto-tuna-muscle-loud-obnoxious-street racer phase, get the mustang. (i'm generalizing of course, but around here, thats what mustang drivers are...) I agree with the handling statement. fast and quick are 2 very different things, and the 370 is the latter because of how deceptively smooth it is. It cant really be explained but driving this after driving the mustang I would never go back, this car is really more refined. Not to prattle on but you will want the Z after trying it, it like comparing a DONZI to an outrigger. Trust...

The same thing that "I" (personal preferance) feel is wrong with all of the mustangs, the idea that there is no replacement for displacement. I guess thats the american way, big, heavy, and powerful. Dont get me wrong, I loved both of the mustangs (torque and gear ratios are perfect) and it flies like a rocket. but rockets can only go so far in a straight line until you need to turn. '11 has made huge jumps up from the 06 in terms of supspension, but its still very long and very nose heavy. every time I cornered I felt like my *** was gonna tail out behind me, and in alot of cases it did, with me in a ditch in one incident. though partly my bad driving

Like I said, its about the whole picture. If its all about racing for you, the mustang may be the way to go, much more forgiving in most race scenarios. However, If you want to be faster, get the Z.
