Like I said, its about the whole picture. If its all about racing for you, the mustang may be the way to go, much more forgiving in most race scenarios. However, If you want to be faster, get the Z.

Why's it forgiving and I just want something that if some jerkoff is trying to drag me at a stoplight if I'm gonna get creamed.

The Z has a more limited aftermarket than a lot of vehicles, so remember that if you are intending to go big into modding. Unless you go straight to FI of course.
