Looking to buy a Z in July... 2013 or 2012??
 

Hey guys, I'm new here. I am wondering what you Z'heads think about the 2013 vs 2012 in terms of all aspects, value, looks etc...

I am leaning towards the 2012 for these reasons:

1. The 2012 has the most kinks worked out since 2009.
2. I like the edgy not overly aggressive front styling.
3. There is no difference in HP or anything else performance wise for 2013.
(based on what I've read so far, but don't quote me :))
4. I really don't like the 2013 stock wheels (personal preference),
and I like the 2012 stock wheels very much, even though I would totally
upgrade them to the widest possible, and as far as length goes, I think 18
inches is just right.

How do you guys look at it?

I like the 12 styling more than what they did on the 13.
I have the sports package on my 12, and I would like the 13 only because of the upgrade in the sports package for 13.

I think the choice is obvious! ;)

But 12's will probably be very limited in your specific options/color preferences in July.

I hope they got one in Black or Pearl White (as my second choice) at local dealers, thankfully there's no shortage of dealers around socal.

Otherwise I'll have to rely on the warranty with the 2013 since you know they'll have something wrong with em when they stock them. We'll live and see though.

I drove by Performance Nissan in Duarte earlier today and I saw six 2012 Z's on their front lot.

Personally, I would wait for the 2013.

I just got a 12 2 weeks ago. I am happy I still have my fangs and I think u can get a betrer prixe with the 12.

What's the sports package upgrade difference between the 12 & 13? Thanks.
