silly question but whats the best way to measure MPG in the 370Z? Are you just using the onboard estimator?

best way is the old fashioned way: set your tripometer when you fill up, and divide miles by the amount of gallons at your next fill up.

onboard estimator seems relatively accurate though.

45 minute commute to work everyday- so I see a lot of highway. But I usually get 26 MPG going 80 MPH. 28 Doing 70. & 29-30 Doing 60-65. I drove to California the other week and got 31 MPG for half the way there. I am not disappointed by the MPG at all. Hopefully with different mods, I might be able to make it better.

That is great, I was wondering if it would do above 30 on highway drives

This is about what I can muster although I can inch closer to 30mpg if I pay attention while cruising at 70 and there are not to many hills.

I really feel like 6th (7th for the auto) should have been longer. I bet with a different final gear, 30+mpg highway cruise would be super easy to obtain.

I'm pulling 22 average doing 75% city driving. Since my typical drive goes over a freeway, that's probably a lot of the extra mileage there.

Someone noted doing 32 mpg on mostly highway. I'm sure with a tailwind you might easily push 35, as aerodynamic the car might be.

Throw in drafting off another vehicle and I would bet you are right.
