85% of my driving used to be city. I was averaging 17.5. I now have a larger commute, about an hour and 15 minutes and mostly highway, and I'm averaging 27 if I can keep it under 70mph. Cruising down to Atlantic City, about a 3 hour drive, I averaged 26 at 75mph with the ac cranked up. One time, I purposely was trying to get good mileage and would not go over 65mph. It was a cool night so no ac and the gauge was reading 29.7.
Oddly enough, highway cruising in 85 degree weather and the ac on, and no overheating issues. The temp gauge sat comfortably at 218 degrees. I have an 11. |
