Anyone have this problem with the after market alarm?
 

I have the after market alarm from the dealership and just recently it has started to do little beeps with EVERYTHING. Close, open the door, start the car, unlock the car, lock the car. Before I even unlock, open the door and start the car it has beeped about 5-6 times. This is annoying as hell. anyone know how to fix this before I go for the last resort and head to the dealer

It sounds like a faulty or improperly installed aftermarket alarm. The only simple suggestion I can offer before you take it to the dealer is to check/replace the battery on the remote. I have the factory alarm on my Z but on my last car I had a Viper 5901 that would chirp the alarm when the battery on my remote was low. While the battery was low it would chirp when I hit Lock/Unlock/Trunk Pop/Remote Start... pretty much any button.
