Default So long!

I have not posted up too much but I have met a few of you a while ago when the cars/coffee at Fairfax, Va first kicked off.

I traded in the Z and picked up a 2010 Shelby GT500 (limited/signed by Carol Shelby) The car is in absolute MINT condition so, I could not pass this up.

Z was a great car and when I traded in the Z I actually got a lot more than I thought I would but that was mostly because the dealership really worked with me.

Anyhow, the Z was a great fun car, I do not have anything bad to say about it at all. Why did I trade? Well, love it or hate it the GT500 is one of my absolute favorite cars. I considered a GTR however, the maintenance costs are a bit more than I am willing to spend. Who knows, maybe at some point I will pick up a GTR and park it along side my Shelby.

Be safe!!! Also, for anyone in the area I have my Ark Technologies true dual GRiP Prototype 2 exhaust for sale locally. I'd like to get $300 or best offer. Exhaust only has 10K miles and is in great condition. Sounds amazing and after putting on the stock exhaust I could tell the power and response difference. PM if interested! I will post up a sale ad as soon as I get pictures but if anyone wants a kick *** exhaust locally now is your chance. Driving the Z with the stock exhaust sucked...not sure how some people do it to be honest!

Congrats, best bang for you buck in my opinion. Not a big fan of the looks but ya that sound and torque displacement is Money.

Thanks everyone! Here are some dealer pics, not sure how long the dealer will keep them up.

2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Sterling, Virginia | Koons Sterling Ford

Trade in price I managed the "excellent" which was 24k I dont think I could have done better in this area so, I am happy with how the numbers turned out. As far as the car, i knew it was in good shape but when I saw it, I was speechless, it is in perfect condition.

Muscle cars are great, whether it is a Chevy or a Ford, or a Nissan..

Enjoy...

It's kinda sad... a lot of the old guys are trading in/selling the Z's for other cars and leaving. I'll probably follow suit soon as well, with the new turbo m3's coming soon

I'm keeping my Z regardless. I'm already saving for tthe next ride and FI for this one. But the Z stays... I will add to the collection, not switch out.

Spoken by a "True Z fanatic".

When is the next fairfax meet? If I can make it out I will. Z will always have respect, what a great car!

If I could have kept the Z I would have but I could not afford both.
