My ebrake is weak too! I noticed this when I park it in my garage and get out of car, I actually hear the make a little noise while the car moves slightly. It's not just slack, it's me not heavily yanking on the ebrake. You really have to jack the thing up to get it to fully hold. No biggie though as I too put it in gear when I shut it off. Oh well. I still love it to death!

My ebrake is the same . I have to pull it hard all the way or it won't hold the car since my driveway is inclined.
