Steering lock problem solved (for real)

Has the lock issue happen to any roadsters yet? Just curious only been seen coupes affected by ths.

whatever it has a steering lock, built prior first half of 2011.

Yep, this magnificent Z Roadster rolled up on the flatbed with the issue as I was getting some things taken care of on my coupe.:

Yes it has. Had it fail in my 2011 Roadster.

I can't see the roadster having a different steering lock unit than the coupes....therefore it will be prone to the same problems.

ok, i'm not reading through all 43 pages to confirm this. But can someone confirm that in fact the car needs to be in ACC while the fuse is pulled? Is this so that the lock puts itself into the unlock position?
