VERY VERY easy to do!
Just did this mod this morning before work. It literally took 10min. lol

3~4 rivets for battery cover, another 3~4 for the passenger windshield cowl, slide the cowl forward and up.

You'll see two press clip things near the fuse box (there are 2, the bigger one is the correct one).
Press and lift up.

and take out the fuse.

Make sure to put your car on ACC before you take out the fuse

Did this mod 3 weeks ago. Super easy to do and no issues at all. Thanks to everybody that contributed to solving this problem! I'm so glad I didn't have to waste $500+ on a new lock and towing expenses.

Just did it. Pretty simple. Only pain was getting the fuse out (had to find needle nosed pliers) and then sliding that damn fuse box back down.

Started up and turned off the car a bunch of times, took it for a drive, no issues.

There's a fuse puller stored in the driver side kick panel.

Crap, really? I'm used to them being attached underneath the fuse box covers in other cars. Eh, it was no biggie.
