Well my fuse is still located in my arm rest compartment, and I haven't had another delay start since the one I had the day after I removed the fuse.

I've had my fuse out for about 2 weeks now. I've had at least 5 delayed starts. Not to worried about it though.

How do you get to this fuse?? Do I need to remove the battery? Looked at it real quick today and the battery looked to be in the way. No big deal, just wondering.

Just the battery cover and the windshield trim that goes up to the pillar. Once removed the box is inside the far left side of the battery hull

Yeah, I saw the box. Was just wondering if the batt needed to be removed to access it. Guess not

VERY VERY easy to do!
Just did this mod this morning before work. It literally took 10min. lol 3~4 rivets for battery cover, another 3~4 for the passenger windshield cowl, slide the cowl forward and up. You'll see two press clip things near the fuse box (there are 2, the bigger one is the correct one). Press and lift up. and take out the fuse. Make sure to put your car on ACC before you take out the fuse |

Did this mod 3 weeks ago. Super easy to do and no issues at all. Thanks to everybody that contributed to solving this problem! I'm so glad I didn't have to waste $500+ on a new lock and towing expenses.

Just did it. Pretty simple. Only pain was getting the fuse out (had to find needle nosed pliers) and then sliding that damn fuse box back down.
Started up and turned off the car a bunch of times, took it for a drive, no issues. |
