Clutch Makes Noise in Neutral

Hey Guys, I just got my 370Z 6MT Sport less than a week ago and have put ~130 miles on the car. I notice when the car is not moving and I put it in Neutral and let the clutch out it makes a friction-type noise as if it is not completely disengaged. My first thoughts are that the clutch may need to break in a little more and the noise may go away. Anyone else hearing this noise? I've search the net to see if this is a common noise for the Nissan 6MT and I am getting mixed results.

Since we have minimal sound-deadening material around the car, this is completely normal. When you let out/engage your clutch, you put parts of the driveline in motion, even when in neutral. The moving/whirring of the parts is what you hear. This is completely normal in MT cars, but ours you can just hear a bit better. Don't worry, everything's working the way it should. Mine makes the noise too.

:iagree: It's perfectly normal for the 6MT.

Hearing that you guys hear the same thing makes me feel better. I thought it was ok, but just wanted to make sure. I can't wait for the break in period to be done so I can really get on it. Thanks guys
