19" Wheels

Hey everyone been that I purchase the car used, I was wondering why does it have 19" wheels on it (2010 coupe) other then the fact that the previous owner had them put on. Is there a way to tell what was my car equipped with from the factory?
Thanks.

The wheels came equipped with the car if you have the Sports Package. Maybe check to see if you have the SRM button to see if you have the SP?

If it has the Sport Pkg it should include

19" x 9.0" (front) and 19" x 10.0" (rear) 5-spoke RAYS® super-lightweight forged alloy wheels

245/40WR19 (front) and 275/35WR19 (rear) Bridgestone® Potenza® high-performance tires

SynchroRev Match

Viscous limited-slip differential (VLSD)

Front chin aero deflector

Body-color rear spoiler

Here's a pic of the Sport Pkg wheels with the bigger brakes

Where the transmission is (gear shift) inside the car, the syncro rev match (SRM) would be on the left hand coner. When your driving you should see an S on the mph tac.

just take a pic of YOUR wheel, the brakes will tell us everything.

Nice try. The emergency flasher button it the one on the left. The SRM is the one on the right. You can easily test this, Mr. cgmg21. Press the one on the left that you indicate as the SRM button and you should hear a faint, repeated clicking sound, accompanied by all 8 (2 front, 2 side, 2 rear and 2 interior) turn indicators flashing on and off in a very steady pattern. Press the one on the right -- it has a shift pattern picture on it -- and it should engage the SRM.

I hope this helps.

To the original poster, congrats on the Z and here is a link that explains Synchro Rev Matching.
