Popping sound
 

Hello, I am now approaching 4,500mile mark with my Z. It's been close to 4 month problem free until yesterday.
Last night I was driving from work and noticed an odd sound coming from the rear suspension, I haven't isolated the problem to a particular side but it's a popping noise, almost sounds like an overtightened sway bar.

I've jacked the car up and haven't noticed anything odd, does anybody have a similar problem or any idea what might be the issue?
I haven't hit any potholes or did any aggressive driving yet.

Have you driven it again since then? If so, has the noise happened again?

Just came back from a drive. It's odd, because the sound only happens at speeds below 70mph, I got on I-75 just to make sure, and at 70 or higher the noise completely stops.
I scheduled an appointment at nissan, but they are pretty much busy until the middle of next week,
I did isolate the problem to left rear part of the car, the sound is no big deal, but I would like to resolve it before it becomes terminal. . .

Nail in the tire?

loose sway bar end link makes a sound like one you are describing..
